Eyango
...born near Paris, to a Cameroonian father and French Mother. He was introduced to music by the door of a Gospel choir. His musical tastes are influenced by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Bobby McFerrin and Take 6 and he has been developing his own style for over 10 years now. Eyango is pursuing a career as a vocalist/arranger/composer and he works actively as a studio musician and touring musician. This has allowed him to work for various kinds of artists, on tour throughout the world, in studio record sessions and TV/ Radio shows. He has performed or recorded with such artists as Yannick Noah, Horace Andy, Jimmy Cliff, Craig David, Lionel Richie, Kool & The Gang, Manu Dibango, Marianne Faithfull, Jason Mraz, Sly & Robbie, Youssou N'Dour and Véronique Sanson. Recently he recorded two albums with bass player Yves Carbonne and is now working on his solo debut.
